Review of the Current Status of Tools and Techniques for Risk-Based and Probabilistic Planning in Power Systems
This document covers the subject of probabilistic and riskbased tools and techniques for planning analysis. The benefits and challenges with using probabilistic based tools and the present available tools are discussed. The gaps and challenges that exist in fully deploying these tools in day to day planning and operational studies are also reported.
