HVDC Environmental Planning Guidelines

The guideline provides an overview of the environmental issues to be considered in the technical design and environmental approval processes associated with an HVDC system. It provides an overview of the different HVDC systems and their components, with a focus on possible environmental issues. The environmental impacts and possible mitigation measures of the components and sub-components of HVDC schemes are described.
