Cable Systems Electrical Characteristics

The Brochure provides a state of the art in cable electrical modelling. The derivation of the basic impedances of cable systems from cables characteristics and links arrangements is detailed and formulae are given for the sequence and surge impedances. A critical analysis is carried out to define the applicability of these formulae and needs in further studies are highlighted. Measurement techniques of electrical characteristics are also dealt with.
