Guideline to Maintaining the Integrity of XLPE Cable Accessories

This TB has been prepared to address the issues arising from the disruptive discharge of XLPE cable accessories. It is mainly concerned with outdoor terminations and non-buried joints. The Brochure reviewed the experience of such faults in many countries, the resultant effects and the reasons, if any, attributed to the causes of the faults. The TB also deals with material selection and testing. The TB recommends a course of action for existing and new circuits.
