Report of the work of Study Committee N°2 (High Voltage Cables)

Since the 1962 Conference there have been two meetings of Committee No. 2, in Paris (May 1962, and at Munich (May 19.65). The Paris meeting was the last at which the chair was taken by Professor Van Staveren, who over a number of years contributed with competence and devotion to the advancement of the Committee's work, in the first place as secretary, then as Chairman. It is a very pleasant duty for the new Chairman to pay homage to him and to
express to him all the thanks and gratitude of the Committee in which he was so active.
