Consultation models for overhead line projects

The TB examines "best practice" consultation approaches for overhead line projects, to provide a reference for those invoved in delivering projects in challenging circumstances. Five detailed cases studies are included with the findings of an international survey of "best practice" approaches.The nature of consultations, legislative requirements, timescales, impact of market restructuring, society expectations, use of new technologies and consultation requirements associated with international financing are examined. In concluding, key ingredients for success are identified.
