Asset Management of Transmission Systems and Associated CIGRE Activities

The TB develops the main aspects of the concept of Asset Management definition, core processes, relationship between Asset Owners, - Asset Managers, Service Providers, core competences, policy and experiences with outsourcing. Methodologies to take decisions on Run/Repair/Refurbish/Replace are given, including Asset Health Indicators, Operations & Maintenance costs, re-investment costs, maintenance strategy and diagnostics/monitoring.
