Guide for electrical Partial Discharge Measurements in compliance to IEC 60270
For better understanding the background of the IEC 60270, D1.33 edited a guideline for engineers dealing with PD tests. After a brief review of the history of PD recognition, some fundamentals of the PD occurrence are presented. Based on this, the design of PD measuring circuits, the PD measuring principles and the calibration procedures are discussed.
