Dielectric Response Diagnoses for Transformer Windings

The report presents guidelines for performing meaningful dielectric response measurements on power transformers for diagnosing moisture content in insulation systems. Factors, like type of pressboard material as well as oil conductivity and its acidity, influence the quality of the diagnosis and the resulting errors are estimated. Study cases are reported in order to exemplify different practical situations that should be con-sidered when performing measurements.
