Introduction of 4000 mm2 AlMil conductor in HV cable systems

The Dutch Transmission System Operator (TSO) faces the urgent challenge of expanding the high-voltage grid to enable the energy transition and resolve grid congestion. For the 110 kV and 150 kV network, this involves installing approximately 4,000 km of new underground cables in the coming years. This requires innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable cable technologies and effective ways for timely realising projects.
