This study focuses on five provinces and regions in southern China, where complex geological structures, frequent rainfall, seismic activity, and fragile environmental conditions collectively contribute to high susceptibility to geohazards, including landslides, debris flows, and rockfalls. To support disaster mitigation efforts for China Southern Power Grid, we compiled over 50,000 grid-related geohazard events recorded over the past two decades, supplemented by historical inventories from field investigations conducted by local natural resources authorities. Using twelve conditioning factors and the Random Forest algorithm, we developed a geohazard susceptibility model and generated a corresponding susceptibility map.
