Digital Twin of PLC Teleprotection Devices as a Modern Technology for their Modernization and Personnel Training

PLC teleprotection devices use digital signal processing (DSP), implemented on processors with Harvard architecture. Today, DSP and all other functions can be implemented on a general-purpose ARM processor. However, porting the existing software to a new processor is not feasible as it was developed in assembly language. In order to develop the new software, a digital twin of the DSP module has been created in MATLAB.
