Demand Response in UPS of Russia. Results and Prospects
Structural changes in power generation, driven by the growing installed capacity and output of renewable energy sources, aging conventional generation and grid assets, the emergence of new electricity consumers (such as EV charging stations, data centers, and mining farms), potential climate change impacts, environmental concerns, and other factors are increasing short-term uncertainty in managing large power systems. This necessitates the adoption of modern, flexible, and cost-effective tools integrated into the energy market framework.
