Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems for Industrial Resilience in Emerging Economies: A Case Study in Paraguay
This paper presents a comprehensive techno-economic feasibility analysis and design of a hybrid industrial microgrid, combining solar photovoltaic (PV) technology and biogas generation, specifically tailored for the Paraguayan industrial sector. The study directly addresses the challenges of rural and industrial electrification in weak grid contexts, aiming to mitigate supply deficits projected by the National Electricity Administration (ANDE) while enhancing local energy security and resilience.
