Electrostatic ionization VOC sensor driven by triboelectric nanogenerator for power equipment aurrounding monitoring
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) serve as critical early indicators of insulation degradation in high-voltage equipment. However, conventional gas sensors rely on external power supplies, hindering their deployment in distributed or confined grid environments. To overcome this, we propose a self-powered VOC sensor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG). The TENG employs an electrospun ethylcellulose composite nanofiber mat doped with bismuth sodium titanate-barium zirconate titanate (NBT-BZT), exhibiting enhanced dielectric properties. By harvesting ambient mechanical energy, the
