Protection, Control and Monitoring of Series Compensated Networks

The TB reports the work done over years 2002 - 2009. It focuses on the secondary equipment for compensated networks, as well as on the relevant issues related to series capacitors and associated equipment installed on series capacitor banks. The case studies and the survey results included in the report inform the reader about the current practices of different utilities worldwide.
