Recommendations for Mechanical Testing of Submarine Cables

The TB covers recommendations of mechanical testing of submarine power cable systems. It contains a descriptive part and a normative part. The descriptive part informs on the life cycle of the cable system from a mechanical stress loading and damage risk perspective. The normative partgives a set of recommended tests. The TB replaces the older recommendations as published in Electra No. 171.
