Preventive Maintenance Activities Documentation for Circuit Breaker used In Oman Distribution Power System

Maintenance is the combination of all technical and administrative actions, including supervisory actions, intended to retain an item in, or restore to, a state in which it can perform a required function. In this paper, preventive maintenance activities are specified for outdoor/indoor circuit breakers (SF6/Vacuum) used in Oman Distribution Power System. Preventive maintenance activities are segregated in four categories: Routine inspections & tests, Condition monitoring activities, Minor and major preventative maintenance tasks.
