Practical experiences on performance tests for UHV AC-, UHV DC- and UHV impulse measuring systems using a 800-kV reference set in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005

Depending on the kind of test (type-, routine-, design-, operational-, dielectric-, production-, special tests, etc.) and type of HV equipment (transformer, bushings, surge arrestors, voltage source converter, overhead lines, etc.), nowadays test levels in the Ultra High Voltage (UHV) range commonly reach up to UpL = 4.000 kV (lightning impulse voltage), UpS = 3.000 kV (switching impulse voltage), UAC = 1.700 kV (AC voltage), UDC = 2.000 kV (DC voltage) (cf.
