DIAGNOSIS OF OIL-IMMERSED PAPER INSULATION UNDER DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE AND AGING STATE USING POLARIZATION/DEPOLARIZATION CURRENT
Polarization and depolarization current (PDC) measurement is a nondestructive method based on the dielectric relaxation response theory. By analysing the dielectric response information from the polarization and depolarization current, the insulation status can be diagnosed. In this paper, oil-immersed paper samples with different aging levels are prepared by thermally accelerated aging at 150? for different durations. All of these samples are tested by PDC diagnosis under different temperature respectively, to clarify the effects of aging and temperature on polarization and depolarization currents.
