to define the role of the system operator in relation to the operation and planning in generation, transmission and distribution in function of industry structural changes
to discuss the impact from and on the generation units including IPP, embedded generation etc...
to define the role of system planners in the same context
to discuss the impact on analysis of power systems and to define the need for new tools to analyse power systems faced with new organisational changes
to discuss methods to organize open trading, ancillary services and transmission pricing
