Foundation testing

With the change in design philosophy from a deterministic to a probabilistic approach, the necessity for determining the strength distribution for individual components of an overhead transmission line has increased. The report gives recommendations on the procedures to be undertaken during the testing of foundations from the initial planning stage through to test evaluation and acceptance.
