Primary / Secondary systeminterfacemodelling for total asset performance optimization

Secondary installations in HV substations are constantly involved in renewal processes and the life cycle difference between the primary and secondary devices complicates those activities. A revision of the current renewal strategy is needed which will even have an impact on the design of new substations and systems. A standardised interface between the primary and the secondary systems will help to cope with these difficulties over the whole lifetime of the asset.
