This Technical Brochure is a guide developed to support in understanding and performing current rating calculations for new and for existing power cables. This guide focuses on the starting points for rating calculations, the methods for calculating the current rating in situations which are not (fully) described in the existing standards, and on the tools and techniques available for performing rating calculations.
