Trading Electricity with Blockchain Systems

This Technical Brochure presents an overview of the latest research and implementation projects integrating blockchain technology in the power system, with a focus on energy trading. It builds on the analysis by the C5.30 working group. Although blockchain is still a young technology, it offers many possibilities that are beneficial for the power system of the future to assist governments around the world in achieving carbon free economies.
