EMT Modeling and Analysis of HTS Power Cables in Data Center Interconnection
The growth of large-scale data centers is driving demand for high-capacity power delivery solutions in space-constrained environments. High-temperature superconducting (HTS) power cables offer advantages in current-carrying capability, compact geometry, and low losses, making them attractive for data center interconnection applications. However, their electrical behavior differs from that of conventional cables, and important transient phenomena may not be captured using traditional phasor-domain analysis.
