Closed-Loop Analysis of WAMPAC Solutions in South Australian Power Grid Using Transient Time-domain Simulation
This paper presents wide-area monitoring protection and control (WAMPAC) solutions to enhance the stability of South Australian (SA) power grid by defending against separation from its neighbouring states. The proposed scheme offers robust performance for multiple event scenarios and avoids over-shedding compared with the conventional load-shedding schemes.
