Private Capital for HVDC Interconnectors in Europe: Techno-Economic and Policy Insights
The European Union’s objective of a fully decarbonized energy system by 2050 requires a rapid expansion of cross-border electricity infrastructure to integrate renewable energy, enhance security of supply, and support market integration. Despite ambitious policy targets and significant identified investment needs, interconnector deployment remains uneven across
