Navigating scope 3 emissions in the context of increasing grid investments facilitating the energy transition
The expansion of electricity transmission infrastructure in advanced economies is projected to double by mid-century, creating challenges for Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in the accounting and target -setting for emissions from their supply chain (scope 3). This paper presents Elia Group’s approach to addressing this dual challenge.
