A Scalable Framework for Stability Assessment at the Grid Interface of Power Electronic Interfaced Devices
The Nordic power system is undergoing a fundamental transformation driven by decarbonization, electrification, and large-scale integration of power electronic interfaced devices (PEIDs), including wind, solar, HVDC links, battery storage and large demand facilities, including data centres and electrolysers. This shift introduces new dynamic behaviours and stability risks that are often not fully addressed and analysed when a new PEID is connected to the grid.
