Phasor measurement unit simulator for enhanced operator training

Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) are attracting larger interest as more devices get installed on the system. Advanced applications that increase system security, reliability, and efficiency continue to be developed as deployment becomes more widespread. In the operator center, PMUs can also be a powerful tool to assist operators in maintaining system security. However, their usage in the control room remains limited due to a lack of proper PMU training leading to operator unfamiliarity.
