Use of co-simulation for zonal congestion management systems to assess the resiliency of the associated ICT infrastructure and validate their performances under communications hazards
To facilitate the integration of distributed energy resources (DER) into the French grid, primarily at the distribution level, we have designed a zonal control system to manage congestion at the sub-transmission level. These controllers use the existing telecontrol network to retrieve real-time information and send curtailment orders.
