Report on Gas Monitors for Oil-Filled Electrical Equipment

Gas monitors used in oil-filled electrical equipment (on-line or portable) have been evaluated in this TB in terms of applications in service, accuracy and stability. Gas monitor readings have thus been found to be accurate enough for diagnosis to be made on-line, except for hydrogen with some monitors. This TB provides a method for comparing monitor readings with laboratory results.
