Investigation of Different Liquid Solutions for Dye Penetration Tests used in StandardIEC 62217 for Design and Routine Testing
The dye penetration test, which uses a solvent enriched dye, is intended to check the capillaries of the glass fibre of the composite insulators. In the context of the new IEC standard, WG B2.21 has been assigned the investigation of the test conditions after the change in the nature of the dye.
