Field Test for UHV Substations

On-site tests are crucial for UHV substations to ensure the reliability and security of equipment and system after transportation and assembly. There is presently very little experience relating to existing UHV ubstations and WG B3.29 was established to investigate existing practices for on-site acceptance tests, commissioning tests, maintenance tests and special verification tests of UHV substations, and to summarize recommendations.
