Guide – Corona electromagnetic probe tests (tva )

The guide presents the way the Corona electromagnetic probe tests (TVA) are used for identifying the location of partial discharges in the stator winding insulation. A short history of the test, its application field, test methodology, safety of the test, analysis of the test results and the assessment criteria are presented. Finally, several considerations on the future development of the test are made.
