The TB reviews current market and regulatory schemes related to transmission planning and investments worldwide, in the current context of liberalization, market integration and extensive development of renewable distributed generation. Improved coordination is required between adjacent transmission systems and between transmission and generation.
The TB focuses on areas where innovative transmission organisation models, market organisations and regulatory provisions have been implemented. This includes Europe with focus on Great Britain, Germany and France, USA (particularly the PJM area), Australian NEM and Brazil.
