Effects of Nano-filler Loading on the Molecular Motion and Carrier Transport in Epoxy Resin

Epoxy is one of the most widely used insulating materials in electrical equipment due to its excellent electrical, mechanical properties and chemical stability. In recent years, researches on epoxy nanocomposites have shown that the nano-filler in epoxy can improve electrical, thermal and mechanical properties. In this paper, the effect of TiO2 nano-filler concentration on complex permittivity, conductivity and glass transition temperature of the nanocomposites were examined. The present results show that the glass transition temperature increased and relative permittivity decreased at room temperature.
